10th Place | Voted Out (4)-4-2
By Nate Gonzalez
#5081 N8 here, fresh off my release from Cook Island County, questions:

How’d you feel about Liliana going home?

Looking at the tribal council, it seems like the vote should have been unanimous for Liliana. Why do you think it wasn’t and do you think it has any impact on the rest of the season?

This is the second vote in a row where four people got votes. Do you think that this is going to continue? Does this say anything about the way the game has been played or will be in the future?

Now that we’re at Final 11, do you feel like you are an under the radar or over the top player? Do you feel like an under the radar or over the top player is the next to go?

This tends to be the point where a strong core group of people tends to form and lines get drawn in the sand. Who’s on your side and how sure of that are you?

I'm happy about it. She might have been a good person to keep around due to the chaos she was going to spread, but she was angry with me and so the chaos would be partially directed towards myself. That wouldn't have been good. Now that she's gone, working with some of her old allies might be a little easier.

Her friends weren't speaking up much to defend her, but she had their support. It only seemed like a unanimous opinion that she had to go because the people who wanted her gone were being vocal about it. I think her allies just realized she was going down and didn't want to be associated by fighting back against what everyone else was saying.

I doubt it. There were a couple of throwaway votes at the last 2 tribals but as the numbers get lower and it becomes more important who you send home, people are going to be voting more along the same lines.

Now that we’re at Final 11, do you feel like you are an under the radar or over the top player? Do you feel like an under the radar or over the top player is the next to go?

I think I'm closer to being over the top than under the radar compared to some of the people I'm playing with, but I haven't really done anything to stand out. Lil's blowup at the first TC kind of put my name out there and I've been working pretty hard to talk with a lot of different people, so at the very least I'm not just some vote that you can convince to go your way like Marissa who isn't here much at all. Gabe and Sugar are quite talkative in the forums and Shane and Sophie are most notably the ones playing the game in obvious ways, so I'd say for sure those guys stand out a bit more than I do.

Eh, I'm not really too sure of anything. I think I have Sophie/Kimmi's support because they think I have their backs and I have a few individual relationships that I think should work for me going forwards, but I'm not part of a tight-nit group. It might be that my current strategy makes sense for a larger game where the vote is more in flux, but once the numbers get smaller there'll be a lot less room to maneuver. I'm just hoping to ensure that we aren't getting to a point any time soon where any strong core groups remain big enough to dictate the game.
