8th Place | Voted Out 5-3
By Nate Gonzalez
#4613 Hey Kimmi, N8 the Gr8 No H8 without Hesit8tion here,

So, that was a tribal council.

1. How do you feel about David going?
2. How do you think the PII changes the game?
3. What do you think is going to happen going forward?

#4693 Also, we've seen this as a theme this season and I gotta ask you again, this is the second time you were VERY VERY narily voted out like... last minute changes in votes almost voted out.

So... that being said, how are you going to change your game up. Here's my thinking about you. I've played with you before and have now seen you play twice. I think with you, you like to play second fiddle to someone else.

The problem with that here is that you are now seen as a threat due to co hosting. Additionally, if the person you are playing second fiddle to is the target and is immune, you become the next easy target.

So my question is this, are you capable or comfortable playing the leader role in an alliance, or are you too cautious and destined to always be second fiddle to someone else. My fear has always been with you, that you would repeat your runner up performance of Nepal in this "second chance" scenario.

#4714 Mookie's tossing around the idea of voting for Sophie tonight and trying to blindside her and the idol out of the game. I think he's transparently close with Liliana and trying to flip things in their favor, not that I blame him, but this might be something I could work with. If I go along with this it's a big move I can hang my hat on but it could screw me as early as the very next round. But if I don't go along with it then I could get stuck in this alliance and ride to the end as a goat, which I don't want. Still, we are pretty early in the merge so multiple opportunities will arise as the game progresses. I'd really like Lil out and I'd really like Sophie's idol out. If I can get rid of both I'd be so happy. I guess I should try to look long term too though. I don't know what I'd do if I got rid of Lil and Sophie. I'm just a dog chasing cars. I don't know what I'd do if I actually caught one. I think there's enough room here to flip a couple times and still remain in good standing, so I'm currently leaning slightly towards a Sophie boot and then I can assume the mantle of leadership that she leaves behind and gun for Liliana.

#4715 Also, what the crap, I had a massive confessional typed out earlier before this most recent one that I thought I'd submitted and it's gone.

#4717 Ok, so the gist of everything I wrote earlier that apparently got lost somehow is that David leaving means that Lil has a little less power and that's good. It also showed that I'm very much on people's minds to vote out and that's bad. I've got 3 people and Lil who voted for me last night and I don't know who did what. There are a handful of culprits and I'm not entirely sure where they stand. So I'm just gonna be suspicious of everyone.

Sophie's idol makes things complicated. I do want her out sooner rather than later because A) I don't want to be considered in her pocket the whole game and B) I don't want to see her get another idol or, God forbid, two on top of that one to make her practically invulnerable.

Moving forward I think that people are gonna put a lot of focus on Lil and Sophie. I think that's who the votes are gonna come down to tonight, unless they make a play for me again just to take a stab at Sophie. I just want to take a minute to say how annoying that is. I'm being targeted not because of anything I've done but because of who my partner is. icon_rolleyes This is basically a repeat of what happened in Nepal. I have one person throw out some crap on their way out that causes everyone to look my way and it forces me to make smaller moves that I don't want to make. Well not this time, sister. I'm gonna try to make some stuff happen. Sophie is my shield for the time being but I also need a sword if I'm gonna have any chance of winning this thing.

For your stuff, Jeff, don't fear for me. I'm not planning on making the same mistakes I did before. I've got some idea of what I want to do and it's not to crawl up Sophie's ass for the rest of the game. I've already said I want to get rid of her and I also want to get rid of Liliana, but that's to further my own game, not to just go with the group. That's a little personal for me too since she's being a bitter bitch (like, seriously, she targets me TWICE when I've genuinely tried to mend fences and she's salty at ME? icon_rolleyes )Yeah, good riddance to her. I want her gone as soon as possible. This whole second fiddle to Sophie thing was kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Like, I had no intention of running to her, but everyone assumed I did and acted accordingly, which left me with no other options. Clearly Liliana and company weren't with me, so why should I keep trying to stick with them. I want to keep in good standing with the others though, because I intend to use them later. So in short, I plan on flipping on at least a few people when the time is right and taking out some of the big cheeses around here. I just don't want to be stupid about it and go in guns blazing only to be cut down before I get two steps in. I need to be somewhat tactful here.

#4781 I started a little thing with Gabe and Sugar as like an original Waiwai group. I don't know if anything will come of it or if either of them are honestly serious about it (Well, I know Gabe is, but Sugar's a mystery) but it's something to have if I decide to take it seriously later
