Thanks! There are still a few moves left to make to make the FTC, but I like my odds.

That went exactly how I wanted it to. Sugar had to go. Everyone loves her. Before the vote, I messaged Sophie and swore allegiance if she voted with me this tribal. To my (pleasant) surprise, she actually did it. So I can work with Sophie in the next couple votes assuming she wins and take out whoever. Shane and Flicka also voted for me, so I can vote both of them out guilt free. Shane is currently a GOAT, but I feel like a jury would respect taking him out and sticking with Jenna for her loyalty. I've got myself in the middle of these 5 as a swing, so I've got a few options, and a couple of more people I can paint as targets in Sophie and Flicka.

I think the jury likes me, but that won't be enough. It's all going to come down to how good of a story I can tell once we hit FTC. Part of me wants to be voted out in 4th so I won't have to suffer the embarrassment of losing in FTC.

The 5 minutes between getting into that board and getting confirmation from Probst that it was mine is some of the most tense I've felt in this game. Such an amazing feeling.

- Wed Dec 09, 2015 8:26:12 pm #7798 1. I wasn't serious when I said I'd rather be booted 4th. I was being sarcastic, but that doesn't really translate well to text. I've worked WAY to hard to be satisfied with 4th. I'd be sick to get voted out at 4th or 5th.

2. I'm kind of undecided on voting with Sophie or not. I mean, if she loses immunity tonight, there's such a small chance that I'd be able to convince a third person to keep her around. But I've pulled off harder things (dick jokes are awesome). And in the likely case that she DOES win, I've already talked to her about working together, and it's an easy Flicka boot. That then leaves me as the biggest perceived threat at Final 4 and likely a challenge that is suited for Sophie to win AGAIN. So that could get hairy as well.

3. I'm still in a perfect spot. If Sophie wins immunity, she's expressed interest in taking out Flicka. So has Shane. And so has Jenna. Obviously things change quickly here, but I trust in the latter two to not fuck me over. If anyone OTHER than Sophie wins immunity, then she's the obvious boot unless I can convince Jenna otherwise. That also takes out the biggest immunity threat for the FIC, but Flicka has been kicking my ass in challenges too, so who the fuck knows?

But if I need a FIC challenge win to make final tribal, then I didn't do a good enough job with the social game to warrant making the FTC anyway.

I'm in full Spencer-bot.exe mode right now.

And since nobody else is bothering to log in today and I'm bored at work, I'm totally doing this.

1. Shane. Easiest to beat. Hasn't done anything of note. Spent the entire game pissing off most of the jury and (unsuccesfully) trying to get out someone he hated. I love the guy, but even by his own admission he'd be lucky to get a jury vote.
2. Jenna. She has been my closest ally, but I'm going to be viewed as the one who did all the work between the two of us. The issue with taking your biggest ally to the finals is differentiating your game from the other. She's going to have a bitch of a time trying to convince the jury that she was more pivotal in the votes than I was.
3. Sophie. This could go one of two ways. People are either going to admire her challenge wins, idol plays (and non plays), and sticking around like a cockroach despite being the target for so long. If I end up at FTC with her, I'm going to have to argue that it was more dumb luck with the not having to use the idol more than her playing ability. She also spent the entire game not having the social ability to have more than a couple people on her side at a time, with most people either betraying her or planning to betray her.
4. Flicka. She's definitely going to be the biggest competition. She is liked by the jury, played a strong challenge game, and managed to outlast the rest of the couples. She's got a solid resume, and people are probably going to attribute her as leading the alliance since I spent a lot of my time lurking behind the scenes and wasn't as present. She's definitely the stiffest competition, but I still like my odds at building myself up at FTC if I end up there against her.
