Well, that was fucking incredible. Seriously will go down as one of the best "episodes" in stranded history. This season has delivered 10 fold from what I was expecting. I was super excited going in but as always, defintiely nervous about whether people would deliver considering almost all of them had failed in the past or it had been so long since they played originally that it was truly up in the air.

Well, we lucked out MAJORLY wiht the boot order and the ones that survived that weren't huge characters have now successfully become them. This is truly a group of now 12 players who are all playing their hardest and adding something unique to the season.

I'll start off with all the key talking poitns and hopefully hit on everyone taht way. So the merge has come down, as it should, do the two huge players: Liliana vs. Sophie. Both crazy and villainous in their own rights, both HUUUUUGE characters this season and ultimately have defined the merge. The best part of this round, the ultimate outcome: They both survive the first boot.

So how did Sophie survive given that she was pre-destined to go home here, well... partially due to an advantage given in the game and partially due to the complete mis-guided gameplay of the second chancers. Let's start with the first. So the Public Idol came back, and definitely played much better in this season than in Faroe Islands. Having it as the first merge idol vs. the beginning of the game was a great call, so kudos to Cochran on that one. The idol goes up and of course Sophie goes for it and gets it. Now, we have a game.

Because the obvious boot of Sophie now becomes not so obvious as the alliance of 7 decides to split the vote. Which is incredibly stupid considering there are 13 fucking people and it's an alliance of 7, but I digress... So that happens, and then miraculously for them, Sophie's crew decides to split the votes as well. So now we have 2 players, sophie and liliana who are not getting the votes, and the votes being split between two of their loyal subjects.

The coucnil comes around and all hell breaks loose as it comes back 5-5-2-1, fucking amazing. Then the revote period comes around, Liliana starts calling people out left and right, first she calls out Shane, then Flicka and Artis, then she's telling Jenna how to vote and in the end none of them really follow her lead because, bitch stfu... Liliana truly gets worst player for this round but god damnit is she a glorious trainwreck.

Seriously round after round she has delivered incredible cringey moments. The least of which was the comparison to the Last Super which Varner accurately dubbed as her consulting the da vinci code. When Stranded crosses into a realm of fine art and religion you know this shit is fire.

So then, miracle of all miracles, the most boring person, David goes home over the two biggest trainwrecks <333333 I mean, i love david, we all know that, but he hadnt delievered YET, I firmly believe he would have given the opportunity but, sorry David, we need people hwo are delivering NOW to stay.

So I'll quickly talk about the four people i perceive to be the least interesting and then quickly go over how they are stepping up finally <3

Artis - I think he's kind of the quiet assassin in that he's super direct, super quiet, but hwen it's time to blindside he's all in. I kind of love that he called liliana out after this vote and put her in her place for pointing the finger incorrectly in his direction during council. I have high hopes for what the future holds iwth Artis and truly hope we see more of what we saw in Nepal now that the game is heating up.

Jenna - She's been somewhat quiet, but then again hasn't had to truly start playing for a while. Well that all changed tonight and she's seemed to turn over a new leaf. She says she's awoken in teh game and ready to start playing hard. I actually believe her and am really looking forward to it. She wants to bounce back and forth between alliances and I love that. I love that she is tied to Kelly and think that she and Kelly will be a dangerous pair in this game. I could definitely see them being the new patricia/gabriel bouncing all around causing complete havoc. Let's hope Jenna can step it up and become the devlish minx i know she can be. <333

Shane - We knew Shane had it in him. He delivered early on and then kind of settled into this role of following Sophie and it has not served him well. Well now he's in the merge and knows he needs to break off from that label, and boy is he getting a head start. Starting shit in public with LIliana is so Shane circa 2007 <3. Looking forward to more of the old shane coming out and shocking some bitches. Loving him here though.

Kimmi - I get on Kimmi for being relatively boring, but hopefully after being VERY NARILY voted off by 1 vote in two back to back councils, she'll wake the fuck up and start playing a bit harder. She's totally a threat here and needs to realize that and start acting to counter-act it because she's the next target after Sophie goes home. WAKE UP GIRL.

Then there are the players who are delivering but in a more subtle underrated way.

Marissa - she's someone that is definitely allstar material, yet she hasn't done much here. The underrated story is her frienemiship with Kelly (more on her in a second). They're both Playing an incredibly similar and awesome game and they both know it. They want the other one out so no one is in their way. I feel like their story will occupy a majority of the late game because of they will definitely be around for a while. I love how aggro she is at all the other players

Kelly - I think Kelly is playing the best game this season. She's actively making moves but without getting on anyone's radar. She's entertaining as fuck and hilarious to boot, but still playing a super solid UTR game. I think when all the ott players are gone she'll battle it out with the marissas sugars and Gabriel's of the game.

Mookie - he's actually playing a really solid UTR game. Unfortunately he's on the wrong side of the numbers and I think he's going to be collateral damage from Liliana. Still he might be able to break out from her black whole of dis pair if he makes moves now as he seems to want to. Looking forward to seeing what he does away from her if he gets that opportunity.

Gabriel needs to step up a bit more but he's had a good cooling off period. I think he was firing on all cylinders and playing the best in the minority on Pirai. He also smartly targeted David over Liliana and pushed hard to get his way this last round. I think that's underrated and overlooked by most but that was 100% Gabriel's doing. I look forward to what he will do in w more dominant role in the future going up against Kelly/marissa.

Flicka has been killing it this season and I'm so looking forward to see her seek revenge on Liliana now that they have this hilarious feud going on. She's really stepped up and begun to play a solid game. I think she needs to get more ducks in a row before getting rid of Liliana because I think people will dogpile on her after Sophie/Liliana go. I'll be interested to see if she can worm her way out of that situation when it arises.
