we need the other half to complete it though. I don't know if we each get one. I hope so because that'd be fantastic. I'm all for sharing but I'd rather we each have our own.
Here's what I found out, my clue was about the Bushinengues. Also called the maroons, the children of the jungle. Your clue will be about the slaves, their ancestors that came over from Africa on the ship in the crest/puzzle.

None of those work. Are you not allowed to help me with it?

I've looked through basically all the words for slavery from Suriname like Willoughbyland and atlantic slave trade. Don't know what I'm missing here, but maybe the instructions you got with yours can help.

All it said was that I found half the idol and to private message it to Jeff, which I did. I'll keep trying to figure out your riddle. That's the best I got last night. I'm not sure what else it could be.

Though times of unrest and trouble are not, here, scarce - not sure what this means in relation to the password yet
The right one may benefit you at the least - I'm pretty sure this means the right half of the crest won't help you, since that's about my password
The name of the lost ones, not far in the past - this is the key line, I've googled anything related to Suriname and lost slaves/lost ones/lost but it didn't turn anything up. But it's definitely the name of a group of people, probably a group of slaves.
Will leave you sitting safely with your idol piece obvious what this means

I;m actually thinking that when it says "Though times of unrest and trouble are not, here, scarce" it means obviously hard times, such as events, and then the next line maybe means that the password is something relating to a hard time/event which would end up unlocking the idol. Hence that being the thing that benefits us at the least?

Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe like a war or something? I'll start looking into that.

Who's going home on your tribe? If we can help it, it'd be smart to get rid of someone that hasn't already had a partnership broken up. The more partnerships we can get rid of, the better position we'll be in come the merge. It may paint a target on us from some people, but I think most would dismiss it as a stupid reason to get rid of someone trustworthy.

Not sure yet. It kind of hedges on whether or not someone swaps out at the challenge. I completely forgot that that was a thing until someone over here brought it up. But the names that are floating around out there are David, Liliana, and Kristina. We think Kristina is the one who voted against us, but I'm not 100% positive. She hasn't admitted to it or anything, not that she would, but since no one's fessing up there's still that air of uncertainty. Even though a lot of the evidence points to Kristina.
