#7088 oh those fucks!!!!

so I ordered some stuff from amazon, they split it into 2 pieces which is all good, part 1 was supposed to get here on Friday, so the excitement builds as I go through my work day and see that it is "out for delivery" I get home to no notice or anything, check again and it says "returned to amazon".....so I lose it!!!

I called amazon and as usual they were pretty solid but not very helpful. so I look up Landmark, website only has a email option and promises a reply in 24 hours...I sent them 2. Fearing my package was on it's way back to California I dig deeper. find their number on Amazon of all places and give them a call...it's long distance but whatevs....option 1 is regarding amazon orders, it puts me on HOLD for 5 minutes before I spaz and hang up. I then choose option 2 which just rings and then tells me no one is available.

so I contact amazon again, this time they're a little more helpful, they say they will get in touch with Landmark directly and get them to call or email me. Today I wake up still no email and no phone call, I finally say to hell with it and call them again (long distance) HI just wondering where my package has gone? "oh, well do you live in an apartment building" Yes, "yeah, we don't deliver to apartment buildings" OK well, I can come get it from you if that's easier? "our office is not open to the public" OK, well is my package still in Calgary? "yes" well are you sending back to California? "no we're giving it to Canada post, they can deal with it" OK well do you happen to have an ETA for me? "No it's in Calgary you'll get it when you get it" right, well what about my other package that's supposed to arrive on Thursday, I suppose it's not gonna be here on time either. "yeah, probably not" well why are you the courier if you don't deliver to all places? "ummmm,click".......FUCKERS HUNG UP ON ME.

so I call amazon back.....Hey so when I order stuff in the future, how do I make sure these fuckers don't get to touch it? "i'll fill out a form for you and your shipments will be handled by a different courier" cool thanks......ARRGGGHHHHH

#7091 Ew :(

If it makes you feel better at all we don't even have Amazon in Australia :( I wanted to buy something that cost $100 but the total with shipping was $250 so like um no?

BOOO LANDMARK!

Our Australia Post people don't even deliver packages half the time, they just drop off a "we missed you!" card (even if you sat home all day waiting for it) telling you to go to the post office to collect it, and to make it WORSE post offices are only open 9am-5pm (aka normal fucking working hours wtf i work full time bitches) and 90% of them (aka of course my local) aren't open on weekends.

I feel your pain Sugar and I have angry pangs just thinking about postal bullshit. <3

Have you gotten your parcel yet?

#7093 Nope, it's still somewhere in my city, hahaha. I love the "we missed you" notes. Best part of them is mail comes generally around 3pm or so, there is a postal outlet literally across the street from me, and guess what???? you have to wait a day to collect...like fuck Hello? you were just across the street, why does it take you a day to come round again?

I'll never understand the systems in place....constant challenges. a good friend of mine lives in New Castle, so I occasionally hear all about your bizarre ways of life :)
